WHAT IS THE FASHION & TALENT SHOWCASE?
The Association, in collaboration with other local non-profit agencies, coordinates this annual event for the purpose of giving those with mental illness an opportunity to enjoy the spotlight for a day, build self-esteem, commitment and confidence, and have the opportunity to socialize in a warm and accepting environment. At the end of the evening, each model keeps the outfit they have modeled, many of which are used for job interviews and employment.
