What is the Charles P. Seger Seminar?
This continuing education seminar, which has a new theme each year, provides best-practice information and useful tools to mental health professionals, drug and alcohol counselors, educators, youth development professionals and clergy. The seminar also educates those who work with youth, families and individuals who have suffered traumatic loss, or have been affected by depression.
This year’s event will feature:
Ask a Question, Save a Life…
Question, Persuade & Refer (QPR)
Learn the life-saving QPR suicide prevention technique from the man who developed the training Paul Quinnett, Ph.D. Founder and CEO – QPR Institute Spokane, Washington
This special evening will also serve as the launch of a multi-year, multi-faceted suicide prevention initiative in our community developed by the Mental Health Association in Tulsa.
