BrightSky is a counseling program funded by the Tulsa Area United Way and administrated through our Mental Health Assistance Center. It is designed to meet the needs of Tulsa-area individuals in need of counseling services, but may be uninsured, under-insured or unable to afford their insurance co-pay.
BrightSky provides screening and counseling sessions at a reduced rate. It is both accessible and user-friendly, linking individuals in need with trained mental health care professionals. It assists people with mental health needs and transitional or adjustment difficulties, such as grief. It is not designed to serve people living with severe mental illness or in need of crisis intervention.
BrightSky eligibility can be established quickly over the phone. Individuals in need of counseling services, their family members and friends, may contact the Mental Health Assistance Center for information on BrightSky and support at 918.382.2482.
