Metropolitan Apartment Program

Metropolitan Apartment Program (MAP) is the Association’s permanent supported housing program that is partially funded by Housing and Urban Development-Supportive Housing Programs (HUD-SHP) grants.

Through this program, the Association offers a partially-furnished apartment to a person who is homeless, with an emphasis on chronic homelessness and a serious mental illness. Once housed in the program, our staff members conduct ongoing needs assessments and coordinate services to the participants. The program’s objectives include establishing housing stability, increased income and skill level, and increased self-sufficiency.
